Gum, candy & toys
Gum, candy, and toys may not be brought school unless they are specifically requested for a learning activity. If a toy is sent in as "sharing time" item, it may not be violent in nature (no weapons of any kind, etc.)
Birthdays
Per district policy, we are not allowed to celebrate birthdays in the classroom with cupcakes or cookies. Your child's teacher will recognize birthdays in the classroom, but this recognition will not include food.
Medicine
All medicIne must be in original container and must be accompanied by a note or doctor's prescription. Please take the medicine to the nurse's office where it will be kept and administered. Please write a note letting your teacher know that your child needs medicine.
